UConn's Grace Nolan (Marcellus) was the unanimously selected Rookie of the Year while Florida senior Nora Barry (Marcellus) made first team. Story

Harvard sophomore Marisa Romeo (CBA) (right) and Emma Ford (Skaneateles) made first team All-Ivy League. Story

Niagara senior Carrie-Jo Farrugia (Jordan-Elbridge), Niagara's Grace Hunt (Marcellus) and Canisius' Taylor Giglio (Oswego) were among the players to win all-league honors. Story

Hofstra defender Shelby Milne (West Genesee) earned second team honors. Story

College at Brockport defender Colleen Hathaway (South Jefferson) (right) was named SUNYAC defender of the year. Several other local players landed on one of the league's three all-star teams. Story

EMPIRE 8

Former Section 3 players (right) swept the major post-season awards including Player of the Year: Stevens' Erika Wilcox (Baldwinsville), Goalkeeper of the Year: Nazareth's Ashley Kirch (Watertown), and Rookie of the Year: Nazareth's Haley DeVona (East Syracuse Minoa). Many other local names appear on the all-league teams.
